Today

Didn't really emo much today. Thats a good thing.

Attended my Divisional AGM for the year 2007. Then assisted in the Home Nursing Course Examination - Became the bed making casualty. There is a difference between Nursing Members and Ambulance Members.

I jetted down to Cineleisure to see CHARM Cheerleading Championship. Inspired me once again but not as much. Most of the time I was only looking around for CHARM girls. haha. Dennis Yin came, as expected coz he was once a CHARM cheerleader. His dance moves is not bad, but he got face problem. Haha. No offence. At times, I think CHARM All Stars is overrated.

As all the hype about training for the Annual Regional Competition starts and divisions starts telling everyone that they will make it to becoming champions. Bold but whatever it is, its not the right mindset.
Saving lives is all about passion and really know your stuff.
This annual competition to me is just a check point for the competitors.
Why must they be training to win? rather than training to save lives.
Some officers instill wrong concepts to the members that they are in charged of.
To me in First Aid and saving lives, whether if its a competition or not, winning is not an item in my goal but performing well and rendering the correct treatment is.
That is all that matters to me.

Anyhow, I will be assisting in the Competition as the usual make-up artist.

I might not be able to provide the National Competitors with casualty make-up prior to the National Competition, but one thing's for sure is that I will be able to make it to Johore!

Happy Happy coz all I have in my head is packing light and bringing my mess tin and stove (JUST LOVE CAMP COOKING) and the most important thing - that SHE will be going to Johore as well. Not quite sure, but my bet is on her team! [Some might know who I'm hinting]

Nites for now!

when i'm emo

I am still emo. But not as much.

WHY do i get emo?

Cause i have homeworks and they are depressing as what they did to me the previous years.
Cause i dont have anyone to chat with on messenger about my life.
Cause i dont have people to SMS with like i used to since 2 years ago.
Cause i dont have a companion.
Cause i dont feel like i'm a part of my other friend(s)
Cause i cant play the PIANO

What do i do to remedy it?

I think of going for a couple of hours hiking up some hills or mountains and set up camp for a night with friends.
I think of spending a couple of hours trekking to a waterfall and enjoy the surrounding.
I think of ambulance attachments.

... all i do is think and imagine.

But WHY not do it?

Cause i have homework.
Cause i have restrictions.
Cause i dont have my own finance to do religiously.
Cause i dont have time.
Cause i have assignments.
Cause i dont have COMPANY for the treks and hikes and camps...yet.
...and the list can go on and on.

Therefore this June, I am totally devoting myself (if possible) to working with Emergency Medical Assistance Service for the whole month and to finance my hike + trek + camping trips throughout the month before I resume my second semester in college in July.

I felt better posting this here.

On the brighter part of the post, I have my few true loves.

True Love A - Wilderness, Trekking/Hiking , Camping + stove cooking
True Love B - Emergency Medicine stuff
True Love C - Fire
True Love D - Injuries Make-Up

I've discovered that I love walking. As much as I love walking, I just hate air pollutants that make my nose "drool" but its good exercise. ∴ I would walk in the wilderness with a companion that I could chat non-stop with. Walking on the streets keeps me thinking of how I look all the time but in the wilderness, there is nothing to worry about.

Thats it for now. Till I am really hyped up and cheerful again, there won't be pictures for a while. =|

emo.

I should not be. But I am.

This is why my blog is rusting.

I can't blog due to this.

Its like a cork from the wine bottle stopping the wine from coming out.

And its raining now. While I am playing some music that suits the feeling and the mood.

I know its rusting

I know. I know. So sorry, CIMP is a course full of fun but its a course that needs 70% of your time to do research. I wouldn't say that its a total waste of time as some might say, doing these kind of research will lead you back to what you are supposed to be taught. Yes, it does lead back but its like revision and all by your own effort and not only that you re-learn whats taught, but you do learn new information as well. So, its actually a win win situation cept that the fact I'm so busy that I couldn't find time to update.

Lets continue with what has happened in the past to weeks of the rusting process.

Police came to my house. Well, I did no crime but crime left its traces behind my house, underneath the stairs, above the drainage. You'll see what I mean.

A cutter wrapped in cloth was found underneath the stairs, above the drainage.( The letterings and numbers that resemble case numbers and codes are all made up by a CSI fanatic which is me =>)

Its nice working with the police at times especially for someone who likes their type of work a lot and mingle with them during Public Duties. The tool pictured was used in a break in on one of the house the row behind mine.

Had Editorial Board meetings on Wednesdays. Proud to say that I'm a bit of a geek coz I found my way around the Blackboard System. ( Blackboard is an online education system where assignments and notes are given to students by lecturers. Documents and whatever related are shared and discussed about in Blackboard. At times, we have live discussions in the holidays and weekends) Ed Board manipulated the system for the purpose of getting the year book done! or shall I say the semester book as the magazine records the event of that particular semester...so... you get what I mean. I have learned how to play around with Photoshop CS3 in Ed Board thanks to my always hungry and enthusiastic lecturer, Mr Tan.

Went to Sky-Trek on the Friday 1 week ago. This is a place where you gradually make your way up the trees get yourself attached to carabiners and pulleys and make your way through the not-for-the-faint-hearted, high-up-on-the-trees obstacle course. Let the pictures do the talking.

My lecturers. From L-R Mr.Tan aka Mr TMC, Mr. Plouffe, Mr. Varga( My Math lecturer)

The next day, a Saturday was Jay Chou's concert. Once again, I"m there for Public Duty! It was amazingly awesome. He performed well though the stage design was not impressive but the special effects and the huge LED display screen are. He had a good opening. The investment of using white fireworks was great. (Its metallic yellow cause its plasma but the actual colour is white) The acoustics were good too. I would kill to go to his concert another time, literally.

Then the next day, I went to IMU's open day. I kinda had an idea of what I need to achieve in order to get in IMU regardless of what I'm studying. For my reader's info, I might be doing either Medicine or Biomedical Science so, I'll be working in a Hospital no matter what. Hahax.

Tuesday, went for driving test. So damn syok. Going up the hill is not much of a problem, so with that done, I challenged myself to completing parking and three-point turn assessment all in 5 minutes! Then on the road was a breeze. Nice tester. Then I passed!

Wednesday again, and its another Ed Board meeting. We brought in a lot of snacks and we taught each other what we know about Photoshop. Few guys joined in this day ( I was the only guy in the whole Ed Board before this) so, it kinda suck not being the only guy. Haha.. Changed into my SJAM uniform with a sports jacket over it before heading to Ed Board meeting. After that I walked to Sunway Lagoon and attended another Public Duty. This time is Backstreet Boys Unbreakable Tour!

It was superbly awesome. All their classic hit songs plus some new songs and 4 solos from each of them. This is the first time I see a Western Band perform with a lot of audience interaction, multiple "costume" change and props. Everyone sung and sometimes louder than BSB! Two of their songs meant a lot to me which is Shape Of My Heart and Inconsolable. Shape Of My Heart is the song I was listening to while I defeated the Elite 4 for the first time in Pokemon Crystal on the gameboy in the car on the way back from Ipoh. (Laughing opportunity here) Inconsolable is cause of my friends and the Genting trip but its mainly Wai Sheng. He sang the beginning of Inconsolable in the hotel room wearing sunglasses. Should have recorded it. Its hilarious.

Friday came and had a replacement class for Biology. After that Theng and Ru Jin made their way to my college. Showed them around. Had lunch then proceeded to Pyramid. Saw Chiu Kok Hong and we continued to bowling.

Check out RuJin's score ( R-RuJin, Q-QiKit, J-Jason Theng)

After that without Chiu, we proceeded to A game of Pool. The smell of cigarette smoke stinks like more than shit. I prefer shit. Haha. So, played for half an hour and we jetted to J.Co. Ordered 1 dozen I managed to eat 3 donuts while Theng and Ru Jin only managed to eat 2 and they sold it to some canteen aunty in SJI. No more J.Co for me for a while. My instructor came like 9pm+ to give me my Driving License.

I made my way to SBU's sports day on Saturday for the first time. Met up with Ru Jin and the ever so sweet Wei Gin =) at SkyLite. Wei Gin brought me to meet up with the SJAM people on duty. As for the rest of the time, Ru Jin was entertaining me. Thanks for the 'hospitality'! Appreciate it. Congrats to Beverly for being the Olahragawati and bringing Maclay to first place as Captain! Chatted with Wei Gin for a bit before I left with the ambulance back to HQ though I'm not in my Uniform. Thats all for this two rusty weeks.

Today is Monday as well the Third of March which is also Wei Gin's Birthday! Before I get to that, I had one quiz and two tests in college today. Biology was a breeze. And this Thursday is Pajama Day! So, I'll be wearing pajamas to college!

So, Sweet ol' Wei Gin is now Sweet Sixteen!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

WEI GIN

WeiGin and me. Pardon me for my retartedness
This girl here means a lot to me.

Dear WeiGin,

Time for a lil' UPDATE

Hi guys and girls. It been quite a short while since I updated. So, I'm here now to update it! If you all noticed, when you key www.qikit.tabulas.com in the address bar, it will come to www.qikit.blogspot.com right? That is because, I changed to blogspot so that I could learn the html structure in blogspot so that i could incorporate it into my tabulas.( Too much geek lingo here. Dunno how to explain it in layman's language) So, anyway if you did read my tabulas blog before I redirected it to blogspot, you'll probably know why. If you don't already know then, its cause I wanna serve nuffnang.

Back to what I did recently. I attended BBCA's 4th Inspection in my alma mater, SJI. The following are pictures taken from KuanMing's blog and are snapped by him as well.

This is me. In the new uniform. Dunno why i looked like this. Btw, this shot was taken without me knowing.

I'm explaining to CheeHwee about casualty simulation. I'm doing a forehead laceration.

I'm working on the fine details of the laceration. Doing make-up of wounds is definitely my favourite among all the SJAM activities.

I've made some achievements, some personal achievements. I walked to Sunway Pyramid from My college which is Sunway College. It took me just 8 minutes to there and 8 minutes back! Just wanna test it out. Some dudes say it takes them 20 mins. I wonder where they went.

Another walking achievement I've made very recently is walking from my college to Taylors College Subang Campus that took me 20 minutes. walked the route thrice. Once to get there, twice going back to college. Sounds weird? coz I took a cab there for the first time so get to know the route and it caused me freaking five bucks for a five minutes ride! and all the taxis charge the same. And one result after the first time walking back was nose allergy that causes a non viral flu.

The second time I walked there is with this look -

Being smart, but one trip too late. Already having the allergic flu already. And I was having my shades on while i'm walking on the sunny sidewalk. Imagine that!

Now, we go back a little bit back in time during CNY! There's nothing much to talk about, just that we have this terrorist on the prowl and it had kidnapped PIKACHU!If anyone have whereabouts of this masked menace, lemme know!

I'm imposing a guess on who this is. Haha.

And for those who already know who this masked menace is, please dun spoil the fun!

Met up with Theng, Kok Peng, Bryan and two baldies that are on break from NS - Wai Sheng and Kevin. We were playing spot the baldies when they made their way out of the crowd lining up at GSC MV for tix. It was seriously long. From the booths, several usual "turns" and the line continues past McD until Glitters. Lucky we're not there for movies but pool and lunch.

Finally today, its Valentines Day! but i see it as Single Awareness Day. Its nice seeing girls getting valentines gifts in college today. Some had surprises and gets really hyped! but some like me, just take the day as a normal day and being single!Seriously, it did not feel like a special day. It is an eye sore to see b*tches ( people who just knew you, acknowledges you for that short time and then days after that you are just like a stranger, and this is particularly girls la(not all) coz i mention b*tches) having a boyfriend that worships her as if she is the creator of the universe. A more detailed description would be guy dresses up neatly, one hand holding the b*tch's hand and the other holding her books. The b*tch has no expressions. Stupidnye... Blind brat. I keep on question why only on Valentines Day? What so special?

Typing that changes my mood a bit, but nonetheless I worked out in a gym for the first time! woo hoo! 10-15 mins interval between treadmill and doing weights for about an hour and a half. Felt Great after that. I wore pink to school today as it was theme day for my course today.

The theme was Pink and Red day to show some love... I look weird in this picture....

This shall be the end of my post for today. Hope you enjoyed all the above!

Happy Belated Birthday to MY Blogging Experience

What I've Done

Gotta make some bucks through Nuffnang and other blog ads. Though I dont know how much will I make from it. Anyhow, I'll just try. If not, I'll revert back to Tabulas. So, here's a recap of what I did in the month of January.
3rd - Went College. Did my EPT(English Placement Test)
4th - Had intra CIMP orientation amongst the group I'm allocated to.
7th - Collected timetable. Went straight to math class.

Later went to see the CIMP Director aka the Principal to ask about my timetable and as the Director and obviously an ageing, wise and well mannered Canadian Caucasian, he says that I have a really good timetable and should stick to it. Plus, I am in the top syllabus English class that is ENG4U (English for University Preparation)

12th - Went to Genting for Michael's Concert, which was ok. The one he had in Bukit Jalil was better.
16th - Had CIMP fun day which actually is another round of orientation but this time with lecturers and 2nd and 3rd semester students which is our seniors.
20th - Went for my first Public Duty as an Adult Member and attended the first DIM
24th - Went for stupid Freshie Night. Bloody stupid. When I think Prom is bad, this is worse.
25th - Went school=SJI for a visit. Izzat came later. Unexpectedly met Theng. Thought he got class, so didnt contact him.
26th - Went for the first CIMP Trekking Club trek up to Chiling Waterfalls near Kuala Kubu Baru, Rawang. Was nice. Love the scars that I brought back.
27th - Donned the new Adult uniform for the first time. The occasion is BBCA's 4th Inspection. Did some simulation and became the unofficial photographer using KuanMing's camera.

These are what I recently did this week.
1st - Went for duty at KLFA Stadium for some 'wasting-tax-payer's-money' function.

This is the tag I got for the event. Luckily my dad is so called working for the government. So, he doesn't need to pay tax. He was there at this event. Dunno what was his role but, he could actually go home anytime, just that he and his friends took a couple of boxes of packet Milo and put in in the broadcasting room and then load it up their vehicles after the ministers are gone. Neat rite? He brought back along 4 goodie bags that consists of 1/2 tuna sandwich, 1/2 egg mayo sandwich, vanilla muffin, curry sardine puff, curry puff, mineral water, clapping stick, pen, notepad, car sticker and glow stick (good quality ones). I guess mum's taxes are claimed back this way. Haha. I'm keeping the glow sticks for the Trekking Trip to Kenong Rimba Ilmu in Pahang (Exploring Caves) and Gunung Kinabalu hike.

2nd- Packed my study 'fortress' since after SPM till now.

From this...

...to this. Impressive? Lemme know.

4th - Met up with Theng and Soh, the later Izzat and LiJia at Pavillion. Its been damn long since we last saw each other apart from Theng and Izzat and LiJia.

Thats all for now. If I dont post by CNY, then to all you folks out there then the Team from qikit.tabulas.com and qikit.blogspot.com wishes you all a very Happy Ratty Chinese New Year! Be generous in giving ang pows. hehe *evil grin*
